Tobias's Story

Tobias was rescued in Colorado in 2014. He was one year old at the time and exhibited some more severe behavioral issues including: reactivity towards men and separation anxiety. Tobias was always one of Addison's toughest students, but it is what has given Addison many of the tools, including the patience needed to work with dogs of all temperaments! Tobias was able to overcome his separation anxiety as well as his reactivity and was found his way into everyone's heart until his last day in 2024 where he crossed the rainbow bridge.

Tobias was Addison's adventure buddy while living in Colorado and Utah, trekking out on many hikes and camping trips in the mountains. He was always up to go play in the snow, as he knew it was always Addison's favorite thing to do when we got a foot or two! Their days together adventuring in the wilderness will always be remembered and cherished! Tobias is who got Addison into kayaking and paddle boarding and has always been brave and ready for any new adventure whenever his dad was ready to go!

Tobias is a case of a dog that was almost forgotten due to his behaviors. He turned out to be one of the most loving and fun dogs Addison has ever met and always knew how to give you those bug eyes to get what he wanted. We will always miss those stares into our souls for that one more treat he wanted!
